Baantjer

I'm not really a fan of Dutch television, or cinema. There's only a bunch of Dutch movies I liked, and the good shows produced on this little slice of the world are all canceled.

This particular show, Baantjer, is now canceled, and the feature movie that was supposed to be in the making was called off. It was one of the few series that I could actually sit through and enjoy. Sure, it was television quality and over-commercialized, but it had a certain charm. Maybe it's the music, the grim tone of the series, or maybe some clever writing. I dunno, but it kept me interested, that's what counts.

So, for a school assignment, I decided to go vector on these characters. That's right, vector. Drawn on A3-sized paper and then traced in Illustrator. There are some slight perspective flaws, but it's something I'd like to share here. Enjoy.
