Fairly Oddparents Revolutions

Description

Finally, after about 2 months of basically not submitting anything to DA (except for that scrap perhaps) I have, FINALLY, finished something that I should be proud of, at least for the effort: The Fairly Oddparents Revolutions. Revolution as derived from the devastating final fight between Neo and Agent Smith in The Matrix Revolutions.

I really wanted to do something diffrent for a change and throw in all my CGing and drawing skills to make something extremely dramatic and fun to watch. Initially I wanted to have Timmy fight Mr. Crocker in a battle mech suit, but seeing The Fairly Oddparents: Channel Chasers I changed my mind and decided to make the last, final, decisive, collossal, devastating battle between warrior Tim (I cannot imagine a warrior referring to himself as Timmy) and the powerful dictatress Vicky.

Time for specs: You don't wanna know how much time I spent on this. Let's just say that I worked several days on this one, and each time an hour or so. Especially the CGing took a lot of time.
As you can see, Timmy has muscles and they're big and shiny. That was something I never did before. I'm not claiming that I got the atonomy 100% correct, as it does not. The muscles look odd, one arm seems diffrent than the other and his upper hand is smaller than his lower one. The muscles have no black outlines, but have some kind of bump-mapping effect, except I made these by hand.
Another noticable feature is the water. I always had a problem with water, so I decided to go for the colored outline aproach. The inner color is slightly lighter, and shaded causing it to look like... liquid water. This technique is often applied to comics.
I also used some over-the-outline-shading. I never really looked into that. Notice how the swords seem to reflect light that seems to be coming from the background. Also, some of Vicky's shiny buttons have this effect.
The hair is given structure in a way I will not furtherly leak info upon this technique. But it looks cool.
If that wasn't enough, I applied reflecting light to the road, blurred making it look like a real reflection (somewhat). To finish the job, I used a blue overlay to make the pic look more grim and a cheapass but effective weather effect to create rain.

I must also note that this is my first scanned and colored pic made with East Indian ink, which is a vague technique, but gives another feel to the picture.

There, now that I annoyed you with specs, I'm going to stop talking.
