In light of my new "should update more often" policy, I present you my quick take on Fillmore! Yes, that is supposed to go with an exclamation point. For those with Wikiphobia (the irrational fear of using Wikipedia), Fillmore! is a 2003 Disney cartoon that is essentially a 1970s police series... except it's in middle school.

When I found out that this fun show actually existed I was instantly intrigued by its powerful premise and how intelligent it was. Sure, it still took place in a goddamn school, just like about any modern Disney toon ever made, but it doesn't feel like one because the school functions like an actual city.

Well, before I spiral into a whole speech outlining the reasons why this show is at least watch-worthy, I'll give a brief description about this piece. My goal was to be quick, to just draw something in as little time. It started out as a quick Artrage sketch and then I just started inking it in Photoshop, not minding the little details. The result is quite nice, actually.

So here we have a more mature version of Fillmore and crime-solvin' partner Ingrid, mixed with some rule of cool. No back story or anything, just what I think it would look like if it were an actual police show.
