Comic summary
The 3 not-so-princesses tells the tale of Peach, Daisy and Rosalina of the Super Mario franchise, with the notable exception that they live in the alternative universe of Rothingham, a dystopian and seemingly endless city. Stripped of their royalty, how will these alternative versions of our lovely princesses deal with the harsh reality of a city that doesn't give a crap about them?

Inspired by The 3 little princesses by Yves =TheBourgyman Bourgelas.

Page notes
And so it begins, The 3 not-so-princesses is finally a reality, and off to a spectacular start with this nice aerial view of Rothingham city, or rather, just a small part of it. It should give you an idea how gigantic this city is, and if it doesn't, I will make sure you do by the time the comic's done.

And what do you know, I'm two days early, how about that!

The art style is deliberately sketchy and blurry, experimenting with a bunch of brushes I got. This will obviously not be the case in much of the rest of the comic, as the characters and important background props will feature more detail and cleaner coloring. But for an areal view like this, it's rather appropriate.
It's also interesting to note that the perspective is deliberately rough and skewed to enhance the effect that nothing in Rothingham is straight and intact.

I aim to release pages around each Saturday, and I hope this has gotten you pumped up to see it :]

On a last note, this is probably going to be the only page that will not have a mature-filter.
